Austin cleaners will water your plants!

Consider these indoor plants known for their ease of care and ability to thrive in home:

1. Snake Plant (Sansevieria): Known for their durability and ability to tolerate low light conditions. They have tall, sturdy leaves that come in various patterns. Excellent air purifiers and can thrive with minimal watering.

2. Pothos (Epipremnum aureum): A trailing vine with heart-shaped leaves that come in various shades of green. It is an easy-to-grow plant that can adapt to different lighting conditions. Adds a touch of greenery to any space and is perfect for hanging baskets or shelves.

3. ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia): Has glossy, dark green leaves and is well-known for its ability to tolerate neglect. It thrives in low light and requires infrequent watering, making it an ideal choice for beginners or those with busy lifestyles. Our Austin cleaners swear by the ZZ plant; they’re resilient and beautiful.

4. Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum): Feature elegant white flowers and deep green leaves. They prefer moderate indirect light and consistently moist soil. Peace lilies are also known for their air-purifying qualities.

5. Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum): Have arching green and white-striped leaves. They are resilient, adaptable, and can tolerate a wide range of light conditions. They also produce offshoots, known as spiderettes, which can be propagated to grow new plants.

6. Chinese Evergreen (Aglaonema): Have attractive, variegated leaves in shades of green, silver, or red. They are low-light tolerant and relatively low-maintenance, also know for their air-purifying abilities.

7. Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis): A succulent plant with fleshy, spiky leaves. It requires bright light and infrequent watering, as it stores water in its leaves. It naturally produces gel within those leaves that has soothing properties. As you know, that gel can be used for minor burns and skin irritations. All of our Austin cleaners keep aloe vera in the kitchen for easy access to soothe burns.

8. Rubber Plant (Ficus elastica): Have large, glossy leaves that can add a bold statement to any room. They prefer bright, indirect light and regular watering. They benefit from occasional wiping of their leaves to keep them dust-free and shiny.

Be sure to research and understand the needs of the particular indoor plants you choose to bring into your home.
